What is better acrylic or gel?
Both of them are good. Acrylic is stronger than gel and would be more suitable for customers with active lifestyle, toenail extensions or longer fingernail extensions. Gel is more fragile but is a perfect alternative to nail polish, as it will last longer. Gel is great for natural nails overlay (when no extra length is added) and for short extensions. Gel is not “organic” or “healthier” to your natural nails, as it’s acrylic-based (this is just pre-mixed acrylic) and will become a piece of plastic once cured.

I bite my nails and pick at all my cuticles. Is there any way to get rid of this habit?
Yes! I have treatment programme designed especially for nail biters. Thus, there is a way as long as you have strong will power.

I bite my nails and pick at all my cuticles. Is it still possible for me to have nail extensions?
Yes! Nail enhancements are a fantastic way to help you kick the habit. Your natural nails will be protected and allowed to grow. However, you will require having infills more frequently - once a week, as bitten nails tend to grow quicker.

I am getting married in 3 months time and want my nails to look perfect for my wedding. When would be a good time to start having my nails done?
Now is the best time. Nail extensions take a few weeks to get used to and having them done as early as possible before your special day will allow any problems that may occur to be aired.

Do I ever need to have my nail extensions removed to let my natural nail breathe?
Your natural nails are not alive and don't need to breathe, they don't have lungs! Your natural nail is made from keratin, which is a protein, consisting of dead skin cells, and is the same stuff that makes your hair. So you can keep up with your nail extensions for as long as you like, there is no time limit! All you have to do is to have your nails maintained by having an infill every 10 -14 days, as you will start to see a gap around the cuticle area and also the product will start to weaken after this length of time.

Do nail extensions cause damage to the natural nail?
As long as the extensions are applied correctly by a qualified and experienced nail technician, and removed safely then no damage will be caused to the natural nail. I always use high quality products and take great care to ensure that your natural nail is kept in good condition at all times.

I like long nails. How long false nails can be?
It is possible to create the nails of any length, shape or colour. Extremely long nails could be great for a party, photo shoot or any other event. However, an unmanageable length could damage your natural nail. It is recommended that the free edge (the white part at the end of the nail) of a nail extension is not longer than a half of a nail bed (‘pink’ part of the nail). This is a safe length. The longer nail is the easier to break it and the easier to break it up to nail bed and make you bleed.

What is better acrylic or gel?
Both of them are good. Acrylic is stronger than gel and would be more suitable for customers with active lifestyle or toe extensions. Gel is more fragile but is a perfect alternative to nail polish, as it will last longer. Gel is not "organic" or "healthier" to your natural nails, as it's acrylic-based (this is just pre-mixed acrylic) and will become a piece of plastic once cured.
